The Full Ripeness of Nonduality

Nonduality isn't a philosophy or a religion. It's living in a way that conditionings and thought are light, rather than fixed It's the ripeness of being that's beyond the need for words. It's the place where two people, who don't speak the same language, can still communicate. It's that soft spacious place where we can communicate with the trees and the sky. This is the place where true humanity is ripe and full.

Without language

Without our language always going in our heads, and our history giving us our belief of who we are, who are we? We are what's underneath this

— Enlightenment and joy —

Joy doesn’t create Enlightenment. There is no level of joy and happiness that’s going to get you us there. Enlightenment creates Joy.

What We’ve Learned

Let’s do a recap of what we’ve been learning in this series on the intersection between native wisdom and nonduality, so we can put it all together and start moving on to some action steps. To what exactly? How does nonduality help us enter this native wisdom State? How do we change one worldview for …

Nonduality and Native Wisdom

I've been working on a series of how Nonduality intersects with Native wisdom. These particular videos may seem a bit disconnected by themselves. But when put together into a full story, it's a new way of looking at human beings that is transformative and fun. I have it all together in a book, available now on Amazon. It's in both paperback and Kindle form.

I've launched it at the lowest price Amazon will allow. $7 for paperback and $4.99 for Kindle.

Nonduality, as a spiritual practice is a bigger, riper, more robust philosophy than we typically see. It needs a facelift.

This book brings native wisdom into the field of nonduality and opens up how we see our thoughts, how we see our history, and how we see our culture so that awakening becomes possible. With a true earth-view of who we are, we can start creating ways to live that are sustainable and dynamic.

Unity is bigger than you think

Unity is bigger than you think. Our brains can never grasp the hugeness of everything that exists. Consciousness itself, however, can relax into it.

— An instinct towards unity —

Our natural human instinct draws us towards Unity. That’s why nonduality can be really fun because it is the process of stripping away the false.

The Full Ripeness of Nonduality

As we continue working through this idea of how to find a harmonious intersection between native wisdom and nonduality, I hope that you’re starting to see that nonduality is a bigger, riper, more robust philosophy than we are typically given in nondual studies. Nondual teachings can seem very dry and obscure. But what we’re looking …

A Full Nondual Society

An actual full non dual society would include everyone: men, women, babies, children, teenagers. It would be quite noisy, and I'm sure there will be music and dancing.

— Meditating in Real Life —

It’s good to meditate in places that are really noisy because that is more like real life. So, don’t become annoyed if you’re meditating and some sort of sound happens. That’s how reality works.

Imagine a Monastery

We’ve been talking about the intersection of Nonduality (enlightenment teachings) and Native spirituality. I’d like to start painting a new picture. Imagine a monastery in a world that is full of integrated people and full of women. What’s it going to be like? Very different, I hope, than our stuck-up idea of spirituality that we …

Don’t Pretend

Nonduality teachings tell us that it is better to know that you’re divided than to pretend that you’re in unity. That’s why we say ‘not two’ instead of ‘one’.

— The Nondual State Exists —

The non-dual state exists. Just because we cannot express it completely with our language doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.

— What we’re looking for is simple —

Remember that what we’re looking for is very simple. The more complicated we make it the more elusive it seems. We’re simply looking for Who We Are. Who we’ve always been.
