Nonduality simply means that there’s not two of you, and so therefore… you can’t find yourself. There’s not two things. — Non-duality means you exist — Usually people don’t say that… but obviously, you’re the one who’s not seeing two things.

Solving the Mystery of Ourselves
We aren't a puzzle to solve as much as we are a life to live. For instance... what's your purpose? It's simply being who you are. Know who you are and purpose is already there. Being alive is both a purpose and a who!
Sufi Heart With Wings
In the art of Being, Hazrat Inayat Khan says that the Sufi flies with wings on his heart. This is a Sufi teaching about being free from the nafs, from the ego, from your misconceptions. You’ll notice that I used the pronoun “he” very specifically. I’ll talk about that later because that’s very important, but …
We Belong Here
We belong here. I mean you and me, all humans. Gosh, everybody else as well—spiders, snakes—we all belong here because we are the Earth. It’s not like we’re ‘part’ of the earth; we are the Earth itself. Every cell, every molecule, the electricity that runs through our bodies, everything is the earth and the universe …
Living as a human being
Hopefully, this has all been helpful in sorting out who we are, how we work together. The question is, how do we find this single point of ourselves that is who is living our life. We are so vastly interconnected that it’s helpful to always look at our history, look at our culture, look at our language, look at the way we interact with each other, to put together the amazing story of human beings as we live as a human being.
— Native spirituality is living non-duality —
This whole talk about the intersection of nonduality and Native spirituality has been inspired by new stories that are coming to us from native communities. The more that I read the perspective and the worldview that comes from these communities, the more that I see that they are describing the non-dual state. They are describing this state that’s being told to us by these mystical traditions from the East. So, we can put the two together and start painting a fuller picture that hopefully helps turn us into the ripe, amazing human beings that it is our birthright to be.
Fasting
When I was diagnosed with cancer, of course, I started Googling it, right? I found some great new information coming into the knowledge of humans about cancer: what causes it, and what we can do about it. I discovered new research on fasting and cancer. It’s diving into the question of what causes cancer to …
Wherever You Go
I love the Old Hippie saying of ‘Wherever you go, there you are.’ It’s so true. You cannot get away from yourself… because you would be the one trying to get away from yourself. This is the revelation. If you read or study any of the people telling their enlightenment experience, this is exactly what …
Fear of Death
Fear of death is one of the biggest motivations people have to get involved in spirituality. Our brains are really smart; this is a problem because we are able to understand that each of us is going to die, and because the stories we’ve been given about that don’t quite make sense, it creates a …
Seems Like It’s Impossible
It can seem that being an awake human being is an incredible mystery that can never be resolved… but actually it’s very simple. You’re you. I’m me.
— The Mystical Mind is Always There —
The mystical mind is always there with you. It is as vast as the critical mind. Both of them work together to create your perception of everything.
Solving the Mystery of Ourselves
This whole exploration of how Nonduality and Native spirituality intersect is part of the process of discovering who we are as human beings, and who am I as a human being. How do I fit into the grand creation that is going on? How do I fit in with all the other human beings? How …
